Smooth hangboard

As an outdoor enthusiast, I can say this is the best portable hold for minimalists looking to train strength while protecting their fingers.
I’ve tried about 10 different portable boards in the past, and I loved this one so much that I bought a second one.
It’s especially perfect for outdoor warm-ups and indoor one-armed deadhang training. By stripping away unnecessary mono pockets or overly shallow edges, it strikes a brilliant balance between portability and practicality.
As Alex Megos says, a 20mm edge is really all you need for most things.
Even when my skin is thin or I’m dealing with pulley strains, it allows me to train with minimal discomfort. Thanks to the arched shape of the gripping surface, it distributes the load properly to the index and pinky fingers. With standard crimp holds, the PIP joints tend to twist slightly, increasing the risk of injury when pushing hard. This hold, however, feels relatively safe.
While it's incredibly skin-friendly, the texture on the gripping surface is a bit too smooth. Giving it a sanding makes it even better.

My favourite hangboard to warm up! The smooth designed edges make holding a little more difficult compared to other models, but they prepare the fingers much better for the real work. Use it for four/three/two or even one finger, pinch it… 20mm/15mm… it‘s simply perfect!

This is the perfect training tool. You have portable board with which you can train every grip position, from crimping, to monos, to many types of pinch grips. Because of the smooth edge it doesn't load your fingers aggressively
and you can use it for warm up at the crag or in your daily training routine.
